In checking a few sources, I get the impression that US farmers are extremely unhappy with what Greenpeace has done to them...they are already stretched thin. Disruptions to agriculture cannot be tolerated, particularly right before Y2K...which will certainly bring bigger disruptions. The groups which do this, like Greenpeace, are frigging idiots, and should be taken out to the barn and shot.

Thanks for the articles...the one about RR soybeans and the consideration of farm input costs supports my comments strongly. Especially when soybean prices are low, the input cost reduction benefits farmers who are stretched thin.

By the way, I went to Iowa State University, so I have a special sensitivity to farmers and farming.
