I'm a regular reader and a regular poster, I agree with your observations about the stock buyback. Like you, I am now underneath on CPQ once again, and am tired of what appears to be their general disrespect for the individual shareholder. As naive as this sounds, I still think this $20 drop was "orchestrated" in some way.

For what it's worth, on my two proxies today I voted for all nominees for the board except one--Mr. Pfeiffer.

If only I had some sense I would have sold all but a core position on 1/27. Next time, I'll know better.
