I have one other complaint/problem relating to CCs. I have two accts...one with Ameritrade, and one with Natl Discount. The weekend after expiry, including the following Monday....is the problem...... My information is that exercise takes place about 2AM or so Saturday morning. I sometimes get a phone message at home about expiration from Ameritrade. Nothing from Natl Discount. Either way...the problem with both of them..is that all day Sunday AND worse yet Monday.......my electronic account....won't let me recast (sell the next month out) CC's for the next month. I have to wait till Tuesday (tomorrow)...and I have a vague impression that the premiums drop a little bit....even from Monday to Tuesday....... any thoughts on that......? Isn't Sunday or Monday the best time to write the next month?.....and how do you get your account squared away....is this a problem with Dreyfus? InvestTrade??
