Having survived the devastation of Cowpland's apparently boundless incompetence, the stock will take a turn for the better when he's terminated. The failure of Corel Computer was virtually assured if past experience was any guide, and it was. The failure of the Java office product was just as predictable for a variety of reasons. I would think Cowpland would have learned from that experience but I was wrong.

He's at it again. This time he's spending shareholder's money in an effort to develop a Windows GUI for Linux. There will be many GUI's developed for Linux, in addition to the current crop of offerings. What will happen is that Corel will not complete the product on time and perhaps they will just quietly cancel it. Assuming they finish, they won't be able to sell it to Linux users who will have a choice of several visual interfaces, up to and including those with a Windows look and feel, for free. There will be no software written to interface with the GUI because nobody would waste their time with a proprietary interface from this struggling loser.

Shareholders, did you know that Cowpland is spending your money on another white elephant that will never see the light of day or create a nickel of revenue?
