Commenting on the Comcast / Media one deal; Sharon Armbrust, senior cable analyst at Paul Kagan Associates, said, "What we are seeing is the inevitable consolidation of not just cable companies but the broadband, Internet, and interactive strata of industries." more importantly... An AT&T spokeswoman said of the deal, "We are viewing this very positively. The merger in our view affirms the importance and value of broadband assets, and again in our view reconfirms the value of the AT&T merger with TCI. I think we are a "broadband asset"! SH
