Christopher, i was reading my Investors business Daily FRIDAY MARCH 19, 1999 and on the front cover, bottom right uder the Heading, Computers Made Plain There are several Web Companies that are taking dictation by phone and send printed text to customers (mostly Doctors within a few hours by electronic mail. The article staes that the transcriber market is a 10 Billion/per year market. The companies named are Speech machines (www.speechmachines.com), MobileWord Communications LLC (www.mobileworld.com), Med-Tech Resource, Inc(www.transquick.com). These companies Actully charge $3.50 per transcribed page. My question is 1) Is EDIG making there Voice Transcriber Devices compatable with a computer that convert the voice to text and be able to print out the transcription. If EDIG is not they should look into this immeadiatley!! This could solidify a dominant position in the marketplace. This Article just had me thinking..... Maybe EDIG should form a subsidery and do the same thing as these others. Folks, EDIG is going to make up my Retirement $$$$in 10-20 years!!!!!! $Mogul
