PERIOSTAT has been approved by the FDA as of last Nov. 98
After visiting 3 dentist Jan of 99, I was told my subperiostals, the old implants, were badly infected, peridontal gingavitas? and had to be removed. If I wanted teeth , I would get dentures or titaniam post and full crowns cost about $30000. Well, I'm to vain for dentures and don't have $30000. When I balked at the thought of dentures, one Tulsa OK dentist we might try a new drug just approved by the FDA. He'd call the co for info. The next morning I was in his office getting my teeth scaled,deep cleaned, this has to be done before your put on periostat. I've been on periostat since feb 1 1999. You take the drug twice daily for 90 days. I've been taking for five weeks and the infection is gone, my gums are tyghter around my teeth and I still have my implants. As of now ,and because of periostat I.m a happy person. You might say I'm a pioneer here and this is an unsolicited testimoney.
Half of the people in the USA has gingivitas. When your dentis tells you have this peridontal disease it amost always means you lose your teeth and hello dentures or expensive posts and crowns if you have enough jaw bone to support the posts. I have dentist friend in Tulsa who has this gum disease. I alerted him to periostat. He had his teeth scaled and on periostat Feb 1 also and he reports the same results as I do. He's talked to osther demtis and they don't know about periostat. By not knowing about this new drug and the money from scaling, $300 and up in Tulsa and their patients losing their teeth needlessly, the dentis need to be more informed. You know, when dentist around this planet are informed what can imagine this stock will fly to? The stock is trading at 9 5/8 and avg about 25000 vol dailey. It doesn't fluctuate much. Just rides along. I'd like some impute to this subject. Please do your DD and add your wisdom for investors and potential investors. I do believe its an unknown Co.
