Agree with the strategy. As I understand tax law (I'm not a CPA), when you short an option or stock and cover for profit later, no matter how much later, it's a short-term capital gain. You technically never hold the option or stock, so you have no holding period. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks... Mr. Aloha
