Stan, I appreciate the TA that you and Hugh and others bring to the board. Couple ancillary points. I'm looking at the week of July 19 when it came off a quick surge down to 5.125 with a powerful sudden move to a 5.5 close that day ...and that marked the absolute bottom of a pretty extended trading range. For what's its worth,unless I buy a stock with the intention of trading, I don't sell if I like it, even if a short term decline seems inevitable, because of the enormous long term tax consequences. Much more profitable after taxes to get long term compounding in a single issue. + of course, I never know when great news will arrive, and I want to be in it on the day that it does. Ampex may just have to slug its way up on demonstrated rising earnings, but for all our sakes, I hope an extra catalyst or two shows up before too long. In the meantime I'm long, unless something unexpected makes me reevaluate. So far, I see nothing like that on the horizon.
