Hi Penni! Ok Ok, I can see you are going to stay mad at me if I don't say something nice, so I'll try in my lame way to make up to Christine. Christine, I think I went overboard in saying you were hypocritical and only a part of the "if it feels good thinking". Of course I know you are a much deeper and carying person than that. My problem is.. these things of which we have been disagreeing are things which I care very much about. My passion gets the better of me. Maybe it's because my children will be school age very soon and I worry about what they are going to have to contend with. I am not sure. but If I did offend you I am sorry. Penni, Oftentimes I believe people who think like and feel like myself are afraid to debate these topics of which we have been discussing. We talk about them over the kitchen table or in the local bar. but Shhhh, never say this in an open forum. I really believe I am a part of the silent majority. Sex education classes as well as so many other social engineering programs have proved to be a complete and total failure. Wasting millions of tax payers dollars which could have been spent on other more productive ways. Like funding that music class or giving teachers a decent raise. When you deal with public money, it's a zero sum game. Not like private enterprise! Spending money on condems, takes away money from othe pursuits. After twenty something years can"t people finally admit IT HASN"T WORKED!! You could spend zillions of dollars on sex education classes and it won't mean a hill of beans if they go home to poverty and a broken home and those are the people your trying to reach! Pragmatic proven somewhat scientific answers are what I search for, not hanging on to failed programs. Michael
