Tulvio,

Re: Your question, "Is there ever an unequal number of buyers and
sellers, with respect to trades in the Nasdaq Market?" The answer is
very defintely! The Market Makers are permitted to keep an inventory
of stocks, which they can buy or sell at their discretion. They are not
compelled to buy or sell what is held in their inventory. If the MM
is buying, he naturally believes the stock will rise. If he is selling
he believes the stock will drop. Up and down volume on the Nasdaq is
never, or almost ever equal, as it is on the NYSE, where the buyers
must always equal the sellers. Does this help?
