Re: Sorry Robin, IDTI made its 10% today as Andrew predicted

...with a couple of days to spare.

I applaud you for doing your own DD. However, I have learned that Andrew's style is "read between the lines". In other words, unlike others that proclaim "Here is my Pick", Andrew presents, for lack of better words, a thesis.

I dearly wanted to put my money on IDTI, too, but I was already invested in another Andrew #1 pick, ADPT, which I bought at 35.75 and sold today when it hit 39. Not quite 10%, but close enough not to risk it, and to walk away with more than $3K in my pocket (on 10,000 shares).

The big question is, "what can be learned from this experience?" I can only tell you what I do when my DD conflicts with what Andrew tells me: I post a message listing my trouble spots. I know from experience that if I am "right" he will say so. After all, no one can be right all the time.

I should also point out that if Andrew actually could pick a 10% stock each week, without compounding the profits, you would have a 520% gain on the year. NO ONE is that good (although there is someone whom we both know that claims he makes his clients this much). Therefore, I take the blame for "promoting" him as super-human when we all know he is just like us.

So far, so good... he's rolling sevens so I'm not leaving the table.
