TELMEX IS STARTING TO MAKE UP IT'S LOST GROUND. I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT 5K @ $.33 AND ANOTHER 5K FOR $.50/SHARE. IT WAS LATER CONVERTED 20 TO 1 IF I RECALL. AFTER PEAKING AT $77/SH IN LATE 94', IT (ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER MEXICAN STOCK) CRASHED ALONG WITH THE PESO. I THINK IT FELL TO AROUND $23 BUT HAS MADE A NICE COMEBACK SINCE. I THINK IT'S STILL A PRETTY SOUND INVESTMENT, CONSIDERING THE MEXICAN GOV'T HAS PAID OFF IT'S DEBT'S TO THE US WELL IN ADVANCE AND THAT IT PAYS A NICE DIVIDEND.
