BS, Jefferson said it best the government that governs least governs best. Private malinvestment is allowed to fail whereas government malinvestment remains much longer. According to austrian economics the Feds ( governments) attempts to lower the natural rate of interest creates the boom/bust cycle so government has a hand in the current private malinvestments.
