STOCKSKI: I also checked out Barton's AV and put it at the top of my list of stocks to consider for investment in the near future. I see it as a definite LONG and plan to invest WHEN something happens in my present portfolio. I hope that the wait will not be too long and I miss my opportunity.

As far as the present market: My stocks have participated very little in the run up of the past year! I did have half of my money in the top 10 DOW stock and did quite well with them, but my smaller stocks did not budge. They keep saying that the SMALL CAPS are going to come alive any day now. I have a feeling that this won't happen until some people get burned by the larger stocks.

I am quite interested in the concept of Mutual Funds. You give your money to someone else to invest but you own nothing. I don't feel real comfortable about that (ie. SAVINGS AND LOAN) and therefore refuse to go that route. What I want to see is what happens when some of these giant funds make some wrong moves. They can't ALL be successful. On the other hand, they may be the very people to start the interest in the small caps. Granted, I am not educated in this subject and could be very off base.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

ANYONE AND EVERYONE FEEL FREE TO JOIN IN, WE MAY GET AN INTERESTING DIALOGUE GOING WHILE WE'RE WAITING FOR IMPX TO DO SOMETHING MAJOR.
