SStam, your earlier post states "The volume was over 7,000,000 with an equal number of purchases and sales.", to which I replied purchases must always equal sales. Now, as you clarify, I believe you meant purchasers and sellers in the original? This still doesn't register in my numb skull, -- doesn't there have to be a buyer for every seller, albeit MM may be part of their numbers? I suppose the same buyer could sell to two different sellers and vice versa. And what difference does it make that MMs may be part of the buyers or sellers? I must be missing something. :-(

SStan, where does one find the # of buyer versus # of sellers data. I'm only aware of up/down volume data.

Interesting about MM ending up overnight with long/short position.
