The latest Media Metrix data show that Amazon extended its January slide into February -- traffic was off 4%. In other news, Bluemountain came roaring back from its post-Xmas blues, posting a 48% bounce off its January lows. Interesting that ZDnet is seeing some traffic problems (down 5%) and that Yahoo is still growing nicely. Semi-related: only 3 of the top fifteen sites made it from 1996 to 1999. P. groksoup.com
