I've been thinking about buying more MCOM stock too but really need to research how quickly the cell phone/paging companies can get the data transmission speeds to improve upon the current 14.4 bps (or really it's around 9600 baud with the line dropping alot which is typical of cellular phone calls).

Regarding getting more info on the company, click on the news link on MCOM when you're pulling up a stock quote on them and go down all the articles.

Regards to getting more info you can contact MCOM's investor relations.

The big 64k question is: will MCOM beat out the cellular/paging companies in the race to get into place a high speed wireless web dial-up network? I dunno and am in the processing of calling some possible competitors to see what kind of hype they're using to promote their cellular modem lines.

If you look at earlier posts, you'll see some folks out there are pretty pessimistic because the company is still experiencing losses and has alot of capital investments to go before it can get the 128k network up and running plus expand coverage areas.

I do know that MCOM's modems works and works pretty well and most of the time we do get close to 28.8 bps speeds even when using it dial into my company's network.
