Geoff, Welcome back, thought you might have burned out and taken a long vacation. Too bad you are all rested up and come back to this wonderful state of affairs.

As a quick recap:

The world still dislikes us (Loral/G*). Seems the market is stuck in a 'Show us the Money' frame of mind. Launch failures and delays have bashed Loral. Political crap is still simmering away. The games caused us concern with launch providers and future markets. As of this month, it looks as though the launch situation is finally straightened away.

I* is having a hard time putting people on the system at $3K a pop and the few that are showing up cant get handsets.(which had better be one of the best 'lessons learned' ever for G*. If they dont have zillions of handsets ready to go day one, I will be demanding some heads on sticks!)

The future still looks bright IMO just the future is not as close as it looked to be last year. G* president left last week or so, the prevailing mood on the thread is to get a person who can sell the service, we shall see who gets the nod.

Wish you well in your start up, maybe you could call and compare notes with some G* folks! (One big lessen: Plan for the worst - that way you wont be surprised.)
