Boolish: In Canada, I was buying shares through the Green Line with TD Bank. Through this same crowd I got hooked up free on the Web Broker. They send you a password and I.D. #'s and it only takes a few minutes to guide you into the system. 1-800-667-6299 in Toronto. You can also buy and sell stocks at $0.03/share depending on the price of the shares (no commission). Before this, I had to pay $0.04/share plus $35 commission if I were to buy a 1000 shares of Bid.Com.
