Michael-- Something didn't seem quite right with my post. Here is my boo boo:

Ummmm, 100 watts for 4 hours is .4 kwh, not 1.2kwh. Your 300 square foot roof array would therefore yield only about 4kwh per day-- I'm sure most homes with their 200 amp panels chew through a lot more than that. I won't tell you what my usage is, except to say that I've put better than a megawatt hour into the various EV's that live out in the garage according to a separate meter out there.
