(Nasdaq: WAST) today announced that on March 19, 1999, the Texas bankruptcy court held a hearing on the motion of WasteMasters, Inc. to dismiss the involuntary bankruptcy proceeding filed against the company on Feb. 10, 1999. The bankruptcy court will issue a report and recommendation to the federal district court that the bankruptcy proceeding should be dismissed by the district court. The company believes the district court will follow the report and recommendation and dismiss the bankruptcy.
