Joey - Re: "Of course, Intel now has the Celeron 430 chip at $170-$180 to maintain ASPs at the low-end. Forget Q1 for AMD...Q2 is shaping out to be very ugly for AMD"

Excellent point.

Intel is scheduled to introduce a 466 MHz Celeron along with the integrated Whitney Chip Set - with both 2D/3D graphics as well as standard 440 BX Chip Set functions.

The combination of these two - 466 MHz Celeron + Whitney will be a Compelling Value Proposition for Windows Compatible Computing.

AMD - with a struggling product line, relying on jacked-up voltages to try and remain competitive - will be at a major disadvantage in both Q299 and Q399.
