STOCKSKI; Thanks for the input!!! I was invested in Washington Mutual at one time and did rather well. I was also invested in Seligman Comm. and was lucky to get out with my shirt on. Of course, Washington Mutual is exactly the type of fund you described.

Now the question. In which stocks are these highly succesful funds investing and at what point do these particular stocks reach saturation?

My biggest concern is that it is the amount of money going in to these mutual funds which is DRIVING the price of the DOW stocks. I heard one commentator mention his surprise at the movement in some notoriously dormant stocks in the DOW. It is my opinion that this is the very reason that the entire market, including the small caps, has not participated in the celebration of the last year.

I don't know if I am making much sense here so I will stop for now.
