Mark I Industries, Inc. Announces Negotiations for Acquisition of International Franchiser
ATLANTA, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark I Industries, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MKIID - news) today announced the company is in negotiations to acquire the worldwide rights for an established Restaurant Franchise System with 40-plus units. The 40-plus units currently operate under properly registered Franchise Agreements. At this time, the company is not able to disclose the name of the acquisition target. The company anticipates the negotiations will be completed in the next 8 weeks. When negotiations are completed and the purchase agreements executed, the company will be able to provide full disclosure.
The acquisition of a 40-plus unit Franchise System is part of the company's 1999 business plan and is consistent with the growth targets established by the company.
