scumbria - Re: "This Gateway problem is really not worth discussing any more, is it?"

Geeze Louise - You are brushing off a multi-million dollar problem that AMD is causing a NEW CUSTOMER !

Gateway is probably siting on 10 million dollars of Kmart chips that it can't ship this quarter along with 6 or 8 million dollars of Suckit 7 Motherboards that it ALSO can't ship !

That will be a 16 or 18 million HIT on Gateway's bottom line !

And guess what that will do to AMD's Kmart shipments in the FURURE ?

That's right !

Even if Gateway does resolve the problem, they will push back their purchases of Kmart chips - they already have an unsaleable inventory - and the STIGMA that AMD/MB problems have caused will slow down their Kmart PC ramp up.

This WILL HAVE A LONGER LASTING EFFECT on AMD sales - already struggling - and you, SCUMBRIA THE CHEERLEADER - want everybody to IGNORE IT !

I see you are back to your old tricks, trying to get more suckers to buy into this AMD money-losing scam.

SHAME

Paul
