That would be news to IBM I suppose. What did Michael Dell say recently about his PC market share expectations for the company?

When he moved into the sub-$1000 market, he specifically redefined the low-priced PC market to be under $600. That means he intends to play in the other segment of the sub-$1,000 market. His first foray (without monitor) is sub-$900 I believe, but the DELL Celeron 333 is outgunned by the competition at this price point.

As I said, it will be a bloody battle royal and the consumer wins (I need to buy a couple of new machines this year).
