yeh but where's orcl now. you can't say for sure you would have sold it at the top. if you have a charting program, check this out. here's a list of tech sectors that have absolutely trashed at some point over the last two year. every analyst was negative, almost all the stocks in each were crushed and then each sector came roaring back and the analysts fell all over each other recommending at the highs. you get my drift.

semiconductors
semi equipment
disk drives
internet service providers
networking equipment
etc. etc. etc.
