milehigh, i only gave you credit for a "near bottom" call.

bp, i personally called in hundreds (probably thousands) of pin point air strikes from the ground. they got me a temporary tactical advantage sometimes, pressure relief and a body count. they win nothing. the only thing that counts in war is holding the terrain. we did not have enough troops in rvn to do that. we made the same mistake initially in korea. we are about to make the same mistake again.

imo the yugo's are very tough. their partisans in wwII were feared by everybody. i had the honor of serving with several who ended up in our special forces. very tough boys. very difficult terrain over there too. clinton has surrounded himself with civilian military leadership including the last 2 sec defs who have zero military experience. one of them resigned after the mogo disaster. he should have been tried for the 28 deaths, but that is another story. the military wants no part of this. but, they have no choice.

just remember, no matter what, say thanks to every person you see in uniform, every one. last week clinton reluctantly gave them a pay raise. guess he wants something in return.

pardon me ladies......i have always thought
"clinton walks loudly and carries a limp dick".
