28% of what? Obviously, I don't know the formula for calculating "market volatility."

Hmmm... You need a date... Hmmm... How about before I spend all of my cash reserves on stocks and stock mutual funds? My "problem" is that I feel under weighted in equities. My original plan was to hold off on purchases until the S&P 500 was below 1120. I'm just beginning to doubt that that will ever happen. Even after a day like today we are way up at 1260.
