Wally: The thing that distinguishes this "correction" from the most recent (if you can call it that) one is the Russell. I have said it before and I will say it again. Once this breaks down, I think we are in for a correction. Today it closed at its low. You could buy the Russell today for what you paid for it on or about November 1st. Who knows how much of this is Kosovo and how much is the market worrying about profits. But it is the perfect recipe for a correction. Watch the Russell tomorrow. I don't care what the intraday noise is in the broad market, if the Russell keeps making new lows during the day, the overall market will go lower in short order. I think it is that simple.
