Archer, This is truly a "story stock" because its should be obvious to all that its fundamentals suck. You ask why any day trader would buy the stock. My response is why would anyone but day traders want to get near it. Management seems to be nothing but self serving stock promoters. It runs up on the rumor of news and falls on the announcement of that news; sound like a perfect trading vehicle, certainly not an investment. That having been said, I must admit being long the stock I guess because I bought the "story", to wit: My understanding is that the proprietary technology which is incorporated in Wavetop does not only allow for digital broadcast through VBI but is open architecture and can be used to broadcast via satellite, cable, fiber, FM sideband etc. positioning the company to be a true digital broadcast medium. The most recent rumors, (totally unsubstantiated), is that the company is in negotiation with several settop box manufacturers as well as ???? to wed Wavetop with TV internet browser which provide the company, WAVO, access immediately to $$$$$$$ subscribers. Probably just another rumor......but Reed
