Penni, You can tell I'm on serious drugs as I forgot to mention this bit I just read in Time and wanted your opinion on. I don't know if you read last weeks issue but it had some very interesting neuroscience findings in it regarding the developement of children's brains. Along with the main piece was a companion piece about the concerns we should have about day care especially in light of these new findings. So what does the chair of the Department of Psychology at Ursinus College write in her letter to Time? "Let's take care not to juxtapose illuminating developmental neuroscience findings with myths about the superiority of nonemployed mothers." I am now a NONEMPLOYED MOTHER.
