I loaded up on AOL and ATHM in nov/dec with tons of margin. I added EMC Jan. QCOM Feb/march I want to own RNWK or BCST. My theme for this year is broadband and wireless.
I own, AOL, DELL, ATHM, EMC, QCOM, LU, CSCO, RMBS in declining order of % invested.
Then I started selling Dell late feb early march, I still own a lot of DELL, but I wanted to make AOL/ATHM my largest holding so I leveraged my gain in DELL, CSCO, LU with more margin then I normally do plus I wanted to take the gain on DELL in the following year for tax reasons. I have scaled back my margin for sell offs like this one. I will go full bore with margin if this sell off goes on for more then this week, looking for a double bottom.
