It seems like there are two types of lawsuits that have been filed; the first filed was because the share price seemed unfairly low, the second because the earnings were not accurately reported. The first type could be settled if the share price in the buyout offer was raised. The second is more complicated because people based their buying and selling decisions on the numbers put forth. Could that be settled by
Noth Face paying a penalty on a per share basis? I don't know. I suppose you could register with one of the law firms, sell your stock, and still be entitled to any settlement forthcoming.
