Hmmmmmmm................. 3/23/99 - NYMEX shuts after-hours trading due data problems <Picture> NEW YORK, March 23 (Reuters) - The New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) said Tuesday it shut overnight ACCESS trade at 1655 EST/2155 GMT due to data feed problems. "We shut down ACCESS. There"s a problem with the feeds going out to the data vendors," a NYMEX spokeswoman said. Earlier, after a five-minute delay, ACCESS resumed trade at 1606 EST but data was not reaching screens. The shutdown affects NYMEX energy and power futures contracts as well as COMEX trade in gold, silver and copper.
