Hi Joe...Is Novell trying to pacify you?

Novell server was not working properly yesterday. Today I found that they released 2 press releases, here they are:

------------------------------------
Novell Ships IntranetWare for Small Business
Small Businesses Now Have Easy-to-Use, Cost-Effective Network Solution
OREM, Utah -- February 18, 1997
novell.com
------------------------------------
Novell's New Management Software to Unify
Administration of IntranetWare/NetWare and Windows
NT Network Environments
Novell Administrator for Windows NT Uses NDS to Reduce the Complexity of Managing Domains
OREM, Utah -- February 18, 1997

From the article:
The continuing strength of IntranetWare sales, paired with the use of
NT as an application server, indicates that many companies are facing the challenge of how best to manage two separate user directories with different tools.

**Comment** I read the statement "The continuing strength of IntranetWare sales" as a message to you basically saying "we are doing well, cool it". Are you reading it the same way?. They have never referred to sales in any previous press release.

About the Coalition

I understand that you are in agreement with my second page proposal. I would think that is how it goes:
1. Select a name for the coalition
2. Register shares at your web site
3. Require, say, .5 to 1 cent per share fee to cover expenses
4. Elect 2 or 3 representatives
5. Start action by sending a letter to the BOD/Marengi and follow up, if necessary, with an ad in WSJ or other publications.

As I said before, you have my full support on this.

About the video tape

I send it to you, it is yours, you don't owe me anything.

On a light note

Last summer you put the pictures of Frankenburg and Markman at your website. These guys were out of Novell in less than a month. May I suggest that you do the same with the BOD members and top executives you don't like. It might work again.

Regards

Salah
