GENERAL OBSERVATION:

It is kind of funny the way a lot of people on this thread have turned to Doug as the definitive BII expert. Less than two thousand posts ago Doug stated that he was threatened, harassed, and ridiculed for the comments he made on the negative aspects of BII. Needless to say most of us were downright tired of his seemingly short perspective. Now that it appears as though he has gone long his opinions are all of a sudden much more welcome and regarded. I'm not trying to put anybody down including Doug...it is more an observation of human nature. People only hear what they want to hear.
For myself included the best way to avoid falling into the traps of shorters or longs.....depending on what your position in the stock may be.....is to have faith in your DD.
