Hi everyone Im new to options and trying to get this sorted out Question;; when you own the stock you sell open calls If you decide to buy them back ,its a closed call If you sell a call on a stock you dont own,is it a(short)what do you call it. If you buy a call on a stock you dont own ,its an open call? If this stock goes up and you want to exercise your option and buy will you be informed on the due date ? how am i doing ?am I out to lunch I do have an option account thankyou sam
