Hello Kurt, Thanks for your post. You pointed to the massive management turnover during the past year, culminating with the departure of Mr. Sylvester. Isn't it interesting that the "turnover" of products and projects over the past three years have been equally as large? Corel has gone from pet projects like education, game, and special interest titles; from Office for Java to jBridge; from video-conferencing to the NC and Corel Computer. Mix in a little palm-top technology and what do you get? A trading range from $18 to $2-3/16 per share. (Not to mention $1.06 in between.) You name it, Corel has tried it.

The discouraging thing right now is that Corel seems to be headed in similarly uncertain directions. I wish that Corel would scrub 90% of its R & D spending and put the cash into "effective promotion" of its flagship products. Without the support of strong sales of existing products, any further R & D spending will be moot. JMHO.

Cheers.

Scott
