Sherry:

Last early October, Dell dropped like a rock, just like the past week. I placed an order to buy Dell at 41 (at that time Dell traded as high as the mid 60's) expecting that I would not get it. The price dropped so fast, and my order was filled. It went down a little further. I was hestitant to buy more. My next buy the next day was around 48 and Dell never looked back. Note prices are pre-split.

The same thing happens this month, just like last October when the technology sector was under attack. I don't know where the bottom is, but at this price, Dell share seems a bargain basement price IMO.

Just received my latest Forbes: April 5th issue which list the 100 most dynamic companies. Dell is on top among hardware. No. 2 is Sun followed by Gateway and Apple. Where is CPQ? It is number 5 .If the article has not been posted, I'll try to type it in the highlights. I will search for online copy.

Note: The first four companies saw their stocks dropped by 2+ to 3 3/4 points while CPQ gained 1/2. Go figure!

Best to you.

Paul
