OT: Marshall, well, that was a good story.

I've got a sign in my lab that says "Caution: do not look into the laser beam with your one remaining good eye".

Visitors get a chuckle from that, but maybe the sign works. Nobody has had a bad accident yet.

I hope your friend's hand healed.

Maybe there's a metaphor for investing in this story. Something like this: 'Caution: do not throw your last dollar down a rat hole', although that doesn't sound nearly as funny. Maybe somebody can come up with something a little more clever.
