Well, of course you did! Those poor things were the good guys. Misunderstood, a little strange perhaps, but so unfairly abused and tormented.
People don't understand how much work it is to be weird, you know. They think it comes naturally and easily to us---they don't see the hours of preparation and the multitude of rough drafts we destroy before the final gloriously abnormal post.
We are true artists, and like so many great ones before us, we must bear the pain inflicted by those who can't appreciate our gifts.
