The only thing that Allen is doing is putting Go2net in a position to be bought out by/merged with ATHM. Allen is about making $$, plain and simple. There is simply no way that his cable initiatives (including Go2net) will win a long term competition with ATHM (AT&T). He is in it for the buyout/consolidation play after ATHM is merged with RoadRunner. Teflon
