Victor, since you made the statement about the number of outstanding shares, perhaps you could point to some research that proves your statement one way or the other. It is very clear from the tables I referenced on the NASDAQ sit that the total number of NASDAQ shares has increased each year, substantially. I didn't make those numbers up, go to nasdaq.com and look for yourself, I don't think they have any reason to lie about it.

Look at nyse.com for info on the rapidly INCREASING number of NYSE shares. I also do not believe they have any reason to lie in their annual report.
Total Shares Listed (billions) 208.1 (1997) 176.9 (1996)

I have not yet found data for AMEX. For your statement that total shares are not increasing to be true, then the AMEX shares must be rapidly decreasing, which I also doubt.

I have presented links to support my statement that the total number of outstanding shares is increasing. I have yet to see any data from you to support the counter view. Give us some proof for your claim!!!!
