Fred:

I have checked your numbers on my spreadsheet. You have to state the % efficiency of the cells and the solar incidence in standard hour equivalents to determine the output of a given size PV roof. The average American household uses 650kwh/month. This is .06mWh/month.

A mW is equal to 1000kW.

At 8% efficiency and at 4 hours of sun a day, 30 square feet would produce .893 kWh/day. Check my spreadsheet on my web site.

I will be at the meeting in Dayton. I wanted to stay in Yellow Springs but my schedule requires that I stay at the Dayton Days Inn South. The number is 937-847-8422. Please leave a message as to where dinner and breakfast will be.

Michael
