<<But it took a pair of long (for the period) books to lay out this idea.>> LOL! yep, that describes me and my posts to those who have gotten enough.

Word barrier: ain't it always? --Vienna Circle.

Very nice: process as ideal. Thank you. The 'hangup' of process is too often the anti-ideal. Seeking intelligent offspring is one outcome that interferes with the full process. Seeking all above average, like Lake Wobegone, or the Stoics [sufficient def.?], is a different interference. Religion, psychology..all have there pet ideal. I call the fallacy, the myth of leaders. All of them interfere with allowing the process to continue, to seek its own path. Is this nihilistic, no pun here, no--we are a product of this stream and are insignificant to improve upon it. It [process] will give us what we need; we will get what we need because we are a part of the whole.
...so I turned to the Grand Inquisitor on the bench beside me and asked what he thought of the pre-blue, G3 PowerMacs.
