I have been looking into a number of different charting programs (not free). They all seem to have pluses and minuses. Specifically, I am looking for a program that:
1)Has a wide range of technical tools (adjustable).
2)Is able to chart BB stocks as well as everything else.
3)Can monitor real time more than one position (charts).
4)Has good alert features.
5)Can access news.
6)Does not require history downloads from disks.
7)Allows annotation.
8)Printable charting.
9)Realtime intraday charting.
10)Is able to chart new stocks.
There are more criteria, but this fairly well sums it up. I have contacted several companies, but only DBC took the time to send me anything, and the online information is pretty sketchy on the others. I know that TradeStation2000i is popular, but can it do the above? Have you looked into these types of technical analysis programs? If so, what have you discovered?
Thanks, Harry
