Safety bid to dollar and US bonds has yet to materialize. My technical friends say >118 more likely than <117 but repatriation flows can swamp that. My view is still long dollar/short yen on a nimble basis. If US equities go down, slowing real growth, where is Japan going to sell exports without a currency devaluation???
