Watching CNBC for the past hour, I notice that the S&P Futures has gone from -3.80 to +1.6. Seems to me that buyers are back after digesting the Balkans situation and also realizing that poor earnings warnings from smaller companies hopefully is not a true indication of a similar situation with larger companies such as AOL, MSFT, Intel, CSCO etc.

Maria B. on CNBC Sqwak Box confirming that in the past hour there has been a reversal in the S&P500. Says that comments made by Abby Cohen of Goldman Sachs will most likely have a positive impact on the market today. Her predictions are 1325 for S&P500, 10300 for DOW over the next 12 months, and according to her (Abby Cohen) nothing has changed fundamentally in spite of the selloff of the past few days

Maria B. says AOL Instinet trade is coming back. It was down quite a bit half an hour ago, but now is trading down a fraction only.

I feel that those who sold AOL in panic still feel that AOL still has a lot of steam left and that they need to scramble back in

So folks let us hope for a better day. Happy AOLing
